Tokyo Police Club
In a Cave

Tokyo Police Club are dull, as dull as Old Bristonian but not half as exciting. The thing about Old Bristonian is that you never quite know what the hell is going to happen next. By the end of the night/beginning of the morning you could be anywhere; down a manhole, up a tree or half way to Zanzibar. The trouble with Tokyo Police Club is that you know exactly where you’ll be. Weeping into your hands, locked in your room bored as sin, wondering why on earth you ever bought this CD in the first place.
These guys completely lack anything in the way of charisma. "In a Cave" is empty, soulless 'rock’ - if indeed you can call it that – that will suck the will out of even the most optimistic, carefree person. This song is tiresome from beginning to end. At a time of economic hardship, don't choose "In a Cave". Choose Old Bristonian.
